Meet Mr. Victor Berge

Victor "Vic" provides vast experience in sales and services to the Forest Products industry. He hails from New Zealand and currently resides in the Northeast United States. You won't find him in one place for too long , since Vic's services are in demand across the US, Canada, Russia, and other outlying countries. Sawmill owners request him for consultations about which equipment will benefit their sawmill best. Vic and his team will find you the correct equipment, install your new sawmill equipment and extract the old equipment with efficiency and professional expertise. Vic is very complete in his work and will make sure your equipment is installed correctly with all the exacting parts and power sources necessary to make your sawmill run optimally.

MAN WITH A VISION - SURPLUS SAWMILL EQUIPMENT
Vic sees a value in American surplus sawmill equipment to be remanufactured and sold in other developing countries as technology and the skill levels in these countries are not up to their expectations. These countries that need to build infrastructure and the private sector do not have the knowledge to purchase and the skill level to buy, build and maintain manufacturing plants.

The U.S. surplus equipment has become outdated with increased technology in today’s market. The surplus machinery has many years of service available for use and the industry is inundated with machinery that is just left sitting due to the high cost of doing business in the United States and less demand for the product. The sawmill industry has come to a stall.

Vic sees opportunities to create jobs selling U.S. equipment and U.S. service contracts to developing countries. By remanufacturing existing surplus equipment, he hopes to create a reliable source of sawmill machinery to be exported to these countries where it will suit their needs and produce quality products for the buyers' end use.

With this project succeeding, it will allow U.S. sawmill owners to free up their cash flow to then purchase the new technology available. This cash flow will be created back to the sawmill owner, which will enable him to purchase equipment of higher technology, lower his operating cost and enable the U.S. saw mill owner to be more competitive on the world market.
